Isn't this just cheap heat protection film?
Our material is much more than a simple heat protection film! It is a flexible fiberglass material with an aluminized surface, comparable to exhaust heat protection film. The raw material for a kit alone costs over 70 euros in specialist shops! Add to that the hundreds of hours we have invested in perfecting the complex shapes, testing to ensure safety and effectiveness, creating detailed installation instructions and machines. You could do it yourself, but our solution will save you countless valuable hours!

Is the heat shield material safe and durable?
Absolutely! Our material can withstand radiant heat up to 650°C. The kit was developed for months and tested under real-world conditions in extreme heat - without any deterioration of the aluminized surface or the adhesive.

Where does all the heat go? Will the engine run hotter?

Our heat shield kit is specifically designed to effectively redirect the heat that normally rises from the fairing and seat. It is important to know that the plastic fairing and seat on your Ducati are not part of the cooling system, but rather absorb heat from the engine and pass it on to the rider.

The heat shield kit directs this excess heat towards the rear cylinder. There, the heat is dissipated by your Ducati's cooling system so that it no longer reaches your thighs and other sensitive parts of the body.

Long-term tests, even under extreme conditions, have shown that your Ducati does not run any hotter than under normal circumstances. This means significantly less heat on your thighs and sensitive body parts.

Is the heat shield kit difficult to install?
Not at all! The kit includes detailed, full-color 4-page instructions. Anyone with basic tools and about 40 minutes of time can install it!

Are the heat shields visible after installation?
No, the heat shields are applied to the inside of the fairing, seat and rear frame and are completely invisible once fitted. The aesthetics of your Ducati remain unchanged!

Will installing the heat protection kit void my warranty?
Definitely not! Modifications to your motorcycle do not void your warranty. If a defect is not directly attributable to the modification, your warranty remains fully valid.
